We are always one with the nature of Oku-Nikko. Our way of life is not just 「with nature ・ 自然と共に」 but「as nature ・ 自然として」 itself. During
that time, with no other buildings around, Sanbonmatsu Chaya stood alone and surrounded only by three pine trees which this area obtains its name.
The Present...
To replace the withered three pine trees, three Japanese Larch trees 「カラマツ・karamatsu」have been planted near the exit and entrance of Sanbonmatsu Park as the "Second Generation of 3 Pine Trees.
